[attr="class","likedoinfo"]A character's aptitude is dependent on their grades. There are four grades that allow for different actions and levels of skill: Phys Ed I, Phys Ed II, Academics and Health. Higher grades are gained through hard work, good luck and dedication. The average person has 5 to 10 across the board. However, most students at Kessho Reform Academy seem to have higher than average grades. These grades are compiled In Character by the school to tally threat levels and over all reform levels.

Grades serve to balance characters on the site as general guidelines. Furthermore, during events, there may be moments when an obstacle that can only be surpassed with a certain grade will appear.

Members monitor their own grades using Report Cards.


Kessho Reform Academy holds two weekly Psych Ed courses on Tuesday and Thursdays. The Tuesday course is a weight lifting one meant to monitor their students' strength levels. A Psych Ed grade shows how much they can lift and how much force they can put behind their punches. Every 10 stat points your character can lift 150 pounds more. So at 100, your character would be able to lift over 1,500 pounds.


Kessho Reform Academy holds two weekly Psych Ed courses on Tuesday and Thursdays. The Thursday course is a track and field one meant to monitor their students' dexterity and speed levels. A Psych Ed grade shows how fast they can run and how dexterous they are. Every 10 stat points your character gains a speed of 15 miles per hour. So at 100, your character would be able to run 150 miles per hour. However, when moving at max speed, it should be noted that their attack strength is halved unless they come to a full stop.


Kessho Reform Academy averages all of their academic classes into one general grade. This is meant to represent the students ability to balance work and intelligence. Students with high Academic grades are generally able to notice things more rapidly and build traps that can effect others in fights. Furthermore, if they find themselves having to act against someone with a high P.E.II grade, if their Academics grade matches their opponent, they can easily keep track of the fast movements. For every 10 points in Academics, stats can deploy 175 pounds of pressure to damage others. So at 100, their traps would be able to deliver 1750 pounds of force.

This force can be directed to one person or divided by several. Furthermore, Academic students can choose to cause one non damaging effect, such as loss of one sense or limiting motion (never outright stopping it), for one post by halfing their damage. They can extend the effects by one more post by negating all damage done by the trap for this effect. It should be noted that traps take time to set up as well- please be realistic in the amount of time taken to set up a trap. You must set the traps up within your posts properly. You may not trigger the trap the same post you set it up.

Furthermore, students with 30 Academics or higher can preform enhanced movements. They're able to move more intelligently to gain more ground, aim for weak points and protect their own weak points to lessen damage. Essentially, for one post per every 10 Academics they have, the student may add half of their Academics to Psych I, Psych II or Health.


Kessho Reform Academy hold regular health classes and check ups to monitor the health of their student. These check ups are more akin to endurance tests and involve strenuous exercise. Students with higher Health grades tend to be more durable and capable of lasting longer than those lower ones. For every 10 Health, they can take 200 pounds of pressure. So at 100 Health, they would be able to take 2000 pounds of pressure.


When members start, they receive a base number of stats to distribute as they wish. A student or adult who is not a teacher at Kessho may start with 50 stats to distribute. Please remember that the baseline for the average human is 10 in each stat.

Teachers may start with 100 stats to distribute.


Grades are primarily given out as a character progresses. As this is a shounen action site, you can gain 1 point to put towards your grade for fighting. However, the fights must last more than 4 posts in total. You gain 1 point for every participant in the fight aside from yourself- regardless of who won or lost. Furthermore, fights dont have to be physical. Games that can be won or loss count- but only once per thread.

Grade points are also given out as rewards for participating in events or challenges. Grades will be given dependent on character development.


Grade points can be given out for having your character overcome a challenge of sorts. Challenges can appear in any thread and last however long, but your character must overcome something. It can be a challenging exam or a climbing a wall to escape a bully. You can do anything you want, but the catch is, a staff member must read over the challenge and approve it for grade points. If approved, you'll be rewarded 1-3 grade points at the staff members discretion based on what the challenge was. To have a challenge graded, post the link to the thread in the Notification Thread. Be warned that if you spam challenges, your rewards may shrink.


As stats grow and develop, each one will eventually offer access to feats of human skill beyond what was once thought possible. More information will be revealed as the site's plot progresses and stats grow.
