Be respectful towards one another. We don't expect you to be overly polite or curtsy or anything, just try not to hurt each other's feelings. I mean, you can curtsy if you want though.

Don't argue with staff. If you have a problem with a staff is doing, PM us to discuss it in private to avoid having complications that may come from discussing it publicly. AKA, we dont want a chorus of people who may or may not have all the information chiming in and derailing it.

Don't argue in general. If you have a disagreement with another member, PM them to talk it out in private. If the argument gets out of hand, feel free to PM a staff member to mediate. No one likes listening to people bickering OOCly. We come to these sites to have fun.

Delinquency Days is a PG-13 website. As we are hosted on Proboards, this means that we cannot have mature material hosted on this site. If anything gruesome is about to happen, fade to black and take it to an instant messaging system like skype. Basically, if it wouldn't fly in a Marvel or Harry Potter movie, it probably wont fly here.

Don't cannibalize each other in the Cbox please.

We are not your safe space. If someone offends and or harasses you, take a screen shot of it and PM an admin with the reason why it bothers you. However, If you're old enough to join this site, you're old enough to be mature enough not to throw a tantrum when someone says something you dont like. . People have different comfort levels, and you are not entitled to limit people on their personal freedoms because of any triggers you have. We operate on a general "don't be an ass" rule. If someone asks to change a subject from a knowingly touchy subject, then just drop it or take it to PM. Such subjects include: Religion, Politics, Sexual Assault, Gore and Abuse.

Staff members will not act upon any reports without a screenshot. These screenshots must have the entire conversation including context. We will not act on copy and pasted text logs.

You are not entitled to anything. Running a site is a lot of hard work without any real reward other than the bright smiles of your members. Give the staff members a break. Dont bug them to do stuff for you. It's a lot of work, and I wont hesitate to give you a warning if you're constantly harassing staff members.

As said above, this site is hosted on Proboards. You need to follow the Proboards Terms of Service.


As this is an roleplay website, you are expected to play within the rules of the universe. As such, should a staff member come across something that does not fit in with these rules, we will ask you to edit it. Refusal to do so can result in warnings or a banning if the offense is serious enough. Staff have final say on what flies and what doesnt.

Please remember that while to you, your character is the main character to your story, there are other members with other characters playing. Try to keep this in mind and stay respectful when posting.

Delinquency Days does have a grade system. This means that during events and special modded threads, members are expected to adhere to our grade system. Members are expected to be able to apply their grades to where they make sense for their character. Members may choose to have threads without grade usage, but they must post in the opening most regarding this and all thread participants must agree. If a fight breaks out and one member requests to use the grade system, it must be used.

You are not your character. Remember the line between IC and OOC. If a character is attacking another character verbally, the player of that character is not attacking you. Remember this.

Delinquency Days does not have a word count, but please do not post one liners if your partner is giving you paragraphs.


One character per account. The account display name must be your character's full name or nickname.

Your first character is free, but in order to create a second character, you must have at least 10 posts with your first. In order to make your third, you need 15 on your second and 25 on your first. If you want a fourth, you must make 20 posts on your third, 30 on your second and 40 on your first. Any more characters after that all require 20 posts on the previous character and 40 posts on all characters before that.

Your character can be from anywhere in the world as this is an international school. Please do your research on the country your character is coming from. If we find anything not quite right, you will be asked to edit it.

Original Art is only allowed if you can provide the artist. If you don't know the artist or need help finding a face claim, approach staff. I adore finding face claims and artists. In fact, just PM me. Staff have the right to reject any art or face claim if they feel that the art is inappropriate for the site for any reason including the style not being up to par with art on the board, is obscene or may lead to issues among members for various reasons.

While we do encourage people to develop and evolve their characters, please remember to do it naturally. Do not force your character to be something they are not for the sake of bullshitting your way through a plot.

Remember to make a balanced character. We do not accept Mary Sues, godmodders or power players. Google these if you don't understand.


You get three warnings before a banning is issued.

These bannings can last anywhere from three days to a month depending on the severity of the issue and your attitude towards them.

You will be allowed back on the site after serving your first ban sentence.

If you get three more warnings, you will be banned permanently.
