Jonathan has always had a short temper despite his compassionate disposition. He acts with his heart rather than his head, which has put him into sticky circumstances again and again. The phrase 'stubborn as a bull' applies well to Jonathan because once he puts his mind to something he aims to accomplish it. It is difficult to change Jonathan's opinions and a nigh impossible task to change his morals.

To make amends for his stubborn and short temper nature, Jonathan always has well-placed intentions. Jonathan protects those who are less endowed than him and helps those who need it. He will fight against anyone who threatens those who are weak or anyone that trashes the environment. Regarding the latter comment, Jonathan hates people smoking, littering, or otherwise ruining the surrounding environment. Despite his compassionate nature, Jonathan always is seeking chances to help others even if he has to pry into their affairs.

Jonathan is bold and outspoken with his actions. His blunt and outspoken nature may make him seem a little crude but he pays no mind to it. He is idealistic to his approach to things. While his naivety shows and it serves to be a testament to how inflexible he is with his beliefs. So while so may think of Johnathan as a delinquent with some time their opinion of him is bound to change.

The smell of cigarettes and alcohol always lingered around Jonathan. Those were two distinct smells he recalled from his childhood and perhaps where his obsession with a clean environment arose from. Jonathan watched as his mother's depression gradually consumed her. No matter what he said, no matter how much he begged it was all for naught. He felt powerless at the whole situation, but he always recalled the words of his now deceased father. 'If you never give up you will always grasp what you want most,' the words of his late father regularly played in his head. He made a vow to save his mother.

Outside of his house, Jonathan was involved in numerous fights with the town bullies. It did not matter to Jonathan if the bullies were in middle school or high school. He wanted to drown out the helplessness he felt at home and follow in the footsteps of his role model, his father. He kept fighting those bullies and kept clinging to the past in hopes of one day fixing his shattered mother.

It was during his second year in high school when he came home to a body dangling from the ceiling. From that day onward, there was no more cigarettes, alcohol, or mother. Jonathan only blamed himself and got into more fights. He enjoyed the feeling of his fists hitting the bodies of the bullies, a fact which disgusted him. Jonathan clung to his ideals since they were the only thing that separated him from the hero he aimed to be and the bullies he punished. It wasn't until one fight happened where he went too far and was sent to Kessho Reform Academy.
