What other mistakes can you make when you enter a new environment out of force? Besides sticking the big one to the authority? Well, usually, you try and avoid alienating yourself from the community at large. Maybe you'll try and find a few friends, settle down and wait for the worst to come and go without any specific worries. That sounds like a very nice way to pass time, doesn't it? Especially here, friends were your lifeblood. The more enemies you make, the more likely it is that your face will get a lovely arrangement with the pavement and dry up like a noodle in the sun.
Well, Kazuo liked to do things the stupid way, gathering more than enough enemies so that he'd be standing on a pile of bodies by the time the day was done. The evening sin glistened upon the pit arena, some sweat glistening off of his forehead as he hopped down into the pit, taking his seat right in the middle of it, yawning as he wiped the sweat away. There was some stained blood on the bottom, dried up by the heat. Seems like there had been fighting here earlier today, although the arena was empty for now. People walked by, some looking down, only to then leave. It's as if... No-one was taking the bait?! No-one was coming down. Was this just a slow fight day, or what?!
He frowned even more and leaned his head against his knees, grunting audibly. He just wanted to punch something. Anything. Even the arena itself would do.

Even after an entire years attending the academy Alex was still not able to find his place or niche so to speak. Most of his classmates were annoying and he had to resist the urge to pummel their faces in every time they spoke. That’s not to say he was the top dog, far from it actually and Alex had bitten more than he could chew a few times, which in turn made him quite acquainted with nurse’s staff. Not that ever stopped him from trying to get back at the ones that sent him there in the first place.
But those were thoughts for another time as Alex currently found himself angrily pacing away from the main building after an annoying class. His strides were the only thing giving away his current mood as his face maintained its collected look hiding the inferno that hid below. Pacing by the arena pit he noticed only a single person sitting in its center, obviously waiting for someone to take the bait and go down there. It seemed luck was in both parties’ favor as Alex had found a way to unwind.
Making his way down until reaching the bottom and hopping in the pit Alex turned his face to observe his soon to be opponent and almost snorted at his ridiculous appearance and facial hair. He quickly shrugged his uniform’s jacket off and loosened his tie as he moved towards his target. Stopping around ten feet away from the redhead Alex finally addressed him as he took a loose stance “Look I’m not in a good mood and need to unwind. So let’s just go Goat Chin.”

His eyes carefully traced after the opponent, focusing on him. One brow raised. Hm. Seemed like an older person. Or, if not older, at least more experienced with the academy grounds. He pushed himself up, stretching a little, making sure he did just enough to show that he didn't think much of his opponent. Basic techniques. Stretch and act relaxed and you show how little of a shit you give about them. Self taught lessons work the best, don't they? He cracks his knuckles next and grunts, although the cracking stops halfway at the other's words. Goat... Chin. Goat chin. GOAT CHIN?!
Angering him was easy. Honestly, he could've just been called something like asswipe or slinkie or whatever lame insults existed upon this world and he'd been fired up harder than a fireworks factory during a meteor storm. His teeth grit together to create the most hellish noise imaginable (inside his head), feet digging in the middle for a moment as he gathered up some strength into his feet. It was hard to plan when you were angry. Everything became a blur where the only thing dictating your movements were a piss filter and some red markers that might just clue you to the wrong target. Thank goodness there was only one person here.
Without a word he sets off, although a guttural noise of anger bubbles from deep within his gut and out into the open like the belch of a drunk dragon, sounding out through the arena and up the tiny bit. He leans his left side back a little as he runs closer and closer, until he then swings it forwards in an upwards angle, sending a quick and clean uppercut towards the other's chin. Why try and play smart when you can just punch someone right in their dumb probably foreign considering the accent face.

Alex could only raise an eyebrow in curiosity as he saw his opponent’s reaction to his comment. Apparently it had struck some sort of nerve as he could clearly hear the grinding of teeth from where he stood. That’s what the punk gets for trying to distract him with such a cheap tactic, like Alex would fall for that. Well more like after failing for it so many times he learned to see through it but he wasn’t about to admit that even to himself. Deciding to throw even more fuel to the fire the blonde raised his voice once more and practically cooed just before the guy charged him “Aww did my comment hurt you, want to go and graze on some grass to calm down Goat Chin.”
Despite his mocking and apparent arrogance Alex was ready to respond as soon as the redhead charged him and the moment he finished speaking he was already moving. With quick light steps he closed the distance between the two, meeting Kazuo half way there just as he was winding up his uppercut. Leaning his head and body slightly to the side the hit sailed harmless past his head. Using the opportunity Alex shifted his feet, making sure they were planted on the ground for better traction before his left one twisted, his upper torso following the movement as his left hand thrust out forwards in attempt to hit Kazuo square in the face. He would then try to follow it up with an elbow to the face courtesy of the same arm ,using the momentum of the previous punch to carry it forwards. Regardless if any of his attacks landed Alexander will then swiftly try to move away from his opponent with a few quick steps backwards and to the left after trying to leave a parting kick aimed at the redhead’s shin. His eyes blinked when he saw his fist fly right past the other's head. The red haze stayed, an ooze of green painting over it as his anger just deepened. So this shitstain wanted to try and play some fucking cool guy, eh?! He wanted to be a cool guy! His head jerks to the right, barely avoiding the punch, although he's not as lucky with the elbow as it connects against his face with a thud, causing him to back up and hold his nose. It wasn't bleeding, but the force of the blow was enough to turn off the annoying red filter in his eyes for about two seconds. His stumbling back and and confusion ensured he avoided the shin kick due to luck, even if his face hurt like hell.
Oop, no, there was some blood dripping onto his fist as he held it against his nose to try and determine his damage. He stared at the few trickles on his fist and grunted, that red filter already back by the time he rushed forwards again, once more charging up that uppercut. He swings it forwards without much care for collision; after all his real goal was his left hook, suddenly springing for Alexander's chest. He suddenly yanks that extended out arm downwards, aiming for a good elbow blow against the other's face, rage moving him constantly in erratic, sudden, and most of all completely furious motions.

His punch was unfortunately unable to hit but the satisfying feel of his elbow impacting the redhead’s face was enough to make up for that. The stumbling and confusing of his opponent just brought a smirk to Alex’s face, which only widened as he noticed the small trickle of blood. Clearly that fool had no idea who he was dealing with but the blonde was about to educate him that, not taking things seriously would result in pain. He didn’t have to wait long for Kazuo to regain his bearings before charging him again, like a bull on red. The upper cut was effortlessly dodged and Alex almost scoffed at the foolishness of repeating the same tactic twice but before he could mock Goat chin about his eyes caught the sailing hook aimed towards his chest. Acting on instinct Alex quickly pulled his left hand back and intercepted the punch with his forearm, blocking the hit. “Ha, you think that would wor-Ugh” his words cut off midway in his gloating as an elbow descended onto his face and burst of pain blossomed across it. Angered surged through him as he felt the taste of copper reach his lips, that bitch had actually tricked him, how dare he. Snarling Alex swung his right hand in a hook in an attempt to hit the redhead’s face. Regardless if it hit Alex would then bring up his leg up in an attempt to knee Kazuo in the ribs. He was going to show this goat what happened when you messed with the predators. Matsuzaki Kazuo

That ugh was satisfying enough to justify this whole matches' existence. He could take everything he wanted and more, just for hearing that ugh. A grin grew onto his face, stretching his mouth to a hellish extent that almost looked unnatural, eyes blaring up with life at the sonata, even if it was just a singular ugh. His opponent could /feel pain./ Discovering that each and every time he fought someone caused him such an untold rush of adrenaline, even if it was a common fact that yes, people could get hurt when you punched them.
He noticed the hook coming, but instead of dodging he cackled and just rushed his face towards it faster, causing the fist to collide with his forehead in a loud thud. A pang ran across his whole mind, disrupting every process besides raw, animal-like anger. Yet he clung on thanks to that feeling of utter boiling, of burning up to the point where nothing else but hurting mattered. The knee to his ribs caused another loud noise to leave Kazuo, coughing out some blood as more began to rush out from his nose. This was good! YES, very good! He felt more alive than he had in days!
That hellish grin just grew as his eyes focused on Alexander. Now, this was a comprising position. His hands reached out to latch against the other's stretched out knee, wrapping around his leg as he then attempted to yank it, with the main goal of sweeping him off of his feet, with a swift series of kicks to the side following if he succeeded.

Alex felt pains spread through his fist as it collided with the redhead’s forehead which only made him only get angrier at the audacity and with a snarl escaping his mouth his knee mashed into Kazuo’s side eliciting a loud noise and blood to come out from his mouth. That sight brought a little bit of satisfaction but Alexander was way too angry to enjoy it, no instead he wanted to inflict even more pain on his opponent. That fuck hadn’t even bother to dodge his hits; did he think he was better than Alex or that he could take the hits. Even if it wasn’t true that very thought infuriated Alex even more making his face twist in rage as the previous anger accumulated before the fight surface and mixed with the current one completely washing the pain from his throbbing right hand. And that grin the goat had on his face, oh the short fused blonde was going to make sure to wipe it off his face. Unable to move his knee away he let Kazuo’s arms wrap around his leg and yank it. That suited Alex just fine as he brought his hands around his opponent’s head and in a fit of dexterity used the momentum of the yanking to jump off the ground with his left leg and force his other knee up while his hand brought the redhead’s head downwards in an attempt for it to collide with his knee. Seeing as he had launched in the air he would make both of them topple to the ground as he had latched on to Kazuo regardless if his knee attack was successful or not. Matsuzaki Kazuo

Another pang of pain ran through his head, although this time from chin to brain and not brain to chin. He could feel like the filter was going away, red changing into a faded reality breaking out on the inside. But, he wasn't done yet. He wasn't... Done yet. Huh? Was he? His mind broke into a haze as everything seemed to stop. As if time had halted. In reality, time went on as normal, yet the insides of his mind ticked away through the vibrations at a snail's pace to try and save him from any potential damage in the noggin'. It wasn't working out perfectly, but well enough all the same.
He could feel it all become dark. Falling down in slow motion, like a black and white film that was burning at the end of the reel with the owner of the theater carefully trying to save the few last clips of film. Yet, his eyes focused on that smug face. That smug ass face that made him want to kill someone. Staring more at it, his pupils grew smaller, that film on FIRE now as his mind lit ablaze with one singular thing that had motivated primal man ever since humankind rose from the primal ooze to conquer this world:
HATRED.
That hatred fueled him, sending his senses into an overdrive as he yanked his head back and then set it out for a headbutt like motion. And then it went black. His head was on a collision course, but the brain behind it was turned off, knocked out from the earlier concussion.
