 A Dutch savant who loves the cold world of logic. He rigidly follows any rules he's made up for himself, but has a blatant disregard for the rules of normalcy and social conduct. If he wants to know, he'll ask. If he wants to try, he'll do. Tell him to sit still, he'll ask 'Why?' and want to run around. His inquisitive nature does not take a backseat except to his sense of self-preservation. He can be incredibly lazy when it comes to physical labour, partially because he sees no reason to play sports, partially because his clumsiness makes it difficult to do things he's not used to.[break]

 At his heart he is kind, and doesn't want to hurt others. At his core, he doesn't often realise others are even hurt. He prefers to be himself and by himself, over being crowded with people who don't know his real self.  He wants to have friends, even if he doesn't mind being alone. This contradiction hurts Olle in his social interactions, but he tries to hide that pain beneath a layer of smiles.

 Although he's good at memorising things, and can follow (his own) logic to its conclusion, Olle is often stupefied by the absurd reactions of the people around him.

 Olle Vermeulen, a savant when it comes to puzzles. He knew how to put together a jigsaw before he could speak (if only because speaking came late to him). His fixation on puzzles of all kinds was pursued over making any friends.

By the time he'd enter junior high, Olle had started trying to make friends, but as a loner unskilled at socialising, it was difficult. He practised a smile in front of a mirror, and worked on his rhetoric. He would impress his classmates by performing 'tricks' with puzzles. Solving a Rubik's Cube in 6 seconds flat. Putting together a 250-piece jigsaw within 15 minutes. Zipping through Sudoku puzzles like it was nothing. By the end of his first year of junior high, Olle'd made his first friend.

 But tricks impress kids. When you get older, you need more daring things, more impressive things. Olle's talent lay solely in solving logic: his football performance was awful, and he'd spent two hours figuring out how to dribble a basketball, only to muck it up in a real game. So he went with his strengths: he worked computer algorithms, which to him were as puzzles, and impressed friends by breaking into the school's website and changing the banner to something unflattering.

 At 14 years of age, Olle cracked a foreign nation's security and uploaded his friends' sizeable pornography collection to their president's e-mail server (and some to the national security to boot). He was always weird, and often would wind up at a guidance counsellor's office for his eccentric behaviour. This was the final straw, and his parents agreed to reform school. Preferably out of the nation, where they need not think about him any longer.

 Olle's never talked about his motive, and departed with a smile on his face.
