One of the many downsides of his previous life was the cafeteria in his old school. Before coming to this reform school, he along with many other students were helpless victims to the lunchroom's awful food servings. Kids like him were forced to wait in long lines only to be served re-hydrated potatoes and cheap salisbury steak among other things. But like he was always told "food was food and you can't be too picky with what you get."
That small saying didn't usually apply to him most of the time. He was one of the many that usually brought lunch from home so that they won't suffer the horrors of the school's lunch. But on those few days he didn't it was hell. But it looks like he won't have to worry about that anymore.
Coming here Rakutsu could never image that the school would allow their students to have such a amazing market to have during the day. The biggest upside was the food court. That means good bye terrible school lunches! But the one thing he will never get rid of was having a table all to himself because no one decides to sit with you.
That was alright with him as he usually didnt want people near him, but now that he really though about it all together it sucked being alone even in a place like this.

Thread Grades: 34; 10 ; 1 ; 10 OOC: Alright, sorry for the delay! Something came up!
One of the things Tanis missed the most about school in the US was the food. She could remember the soggy bread and salt-loaded sloppy joes; the old snacks stored for weeks by teachers who hogged breakfast in class. Luana, who was completely out of uniform for the day, found herself wandering through the food court, feeling a little melancholic about the vile cheap food she missed so much. Her heavy black boots thudded as the amazon, towering at 6’07”, looked over the crowds and tables. Her heavy hands were stuffed into her dark-grey, worn trench coat’s pockets. Beneath said coat Tanis wore a white tank top — it had a few stains of varying here and there. Exactly what one would expect from a careless slob. Her long, cargo pants also seemed to make a strange sound as the girl walked; crunching and rustling — possibly something to do with the fact most of her half a dozen pockets were bloated.
Having scanned the horizon, Tanis noted that many of the tables were way too full. Thankfully, the Amazon’s golzen gaze settled on a gem: a table with only one student!
Her body came down hard, swiftly sitting herself without introduction or a request. Her hands then moved from her external pockets, her right hand digging within her coat and pulling out and placing on the table several food items she brought from a nearby vending machine. Then, the reason she came to the food court in the first place; Tanis dug into her cargo pockets, and out came fistfuls of condiment packets. Ketchup, mayo, mustard, soy sauce — whatever she had been able to get her hand on and stuff down her pants.
The Amazon finally looked up, eyes locked on the boy she shared a table with as her hands fumbled with a bag of animal crackers.
“Yo.” Was all she said, her voice holding an undeniable, mangled, rough accent.
The boy looked… Average — or, well, his mannerisms seemed that way. His looks faired well above ‘average’ territory. Instantly, the mind went to what kind of transgression the timid-looking teenager did to get sent to this hellhole. After all, everyone here was a delinquent of some sort — all outcasts. Exiles.
With a satisfying tear, the bag was opened. The amazon looked down, moving onto ketchup & mustard packets, which she also tumbled before draining within the bag.
Just as her long, talon-like nails reached into the bag, pulling out a condiment-covered sweet animal cracker, Tanis found herself briefly voicing her question.
“So, what ya in for?” With that question posed, her gaze returned to the boy just as the ruined treat was tossed into her mouth. Her eyes narrowed, awaiting an answer as the boor enjoyed her flavor overload.
