Just a normal day for TJ. During his free time, which he has a lot a since he doesn't go to his classes, he's at the bridge. Even Tyson needed some time away from the academy to keep his sanity. It's a damn prison, and the way the staff plays it off even make it more suspicious. It's hard to change people. What happened to the students that don't change and maybe even get worse than they were before? What if prison wasn't enough for them? TJ had a theory that they execute if you don't change, just to better the society. Thinking about shit like that stressed the hell outta him, that's why he's here. TJ sat at the edge the bridge, dangling his legs. It's pretty dangerous, especially since TJ doesn't know how to swim. For a school full of delinquents, it's really boring. He couldn't take his beats full of trap music with him, or anything exciting to keep in his dorm.
The most exciting thig about the bridge was spitting and seeing how long it would take before it's in the sea. Tyson looked back and forth between the island and Tokyo. Sometimes he wondered what would happen if he tried to escape. They put trackers on you when you leave, there's nowhere to hide. Plus there's no reason to escape. He's broke and USA was way too far. His parents probably disowned him by now, probably forgot all about him. If he did find a way out, he'd be a bum on the streets. For now Kessho was Tyson's best option. He doesn't have a life anymore. That's when he came up with another theory. The system was fucked, if a student escape then they have no choice to go back to a life of crime and end up in prison. No money and job lead to people stealing and killing for money, ensing up back where they started. There's no such thing as a new life for a delinquent. Once a criminal, always a criminal.
All of that thinking distracted him for a while, slowly slipping off the bridge. TJ regained his balance at the last second, gripping on to the end. "Oh shit," he mumbled. The delinquent forced himself back onto the edge as he landed on his back, breathing hard. His heart racing, kind of excited. TJ almost drowned and felt excited about that. "I'm hungry. I'm bored. I'm tired." He sighed, nothing else to do. Tyson watched as the monorails drove past him, the wind blowing his nappy hair back.
