Drawing Your Luck Thread Grades: — OOC: I'm really pressed for time right now. Making a hasty post as I'm almost sure my 72 hours are up for the event. Sorry for poorly-written post! @ Among the crowd of students set to pick out their numbers, one would stand out. Tanis — the dark-skinned, 6’07” girl who spoke through a heavy accent. A portion of her hair had been pulled into a short high-tail, while the rest was parted in three sections, who of which fell over each of her shoulders and down her chest, while the last portion simply cascaded down into her lower back.
Half-open eyelids and a hunched over posture were telltale signs to just how much attention she was paying in the class she was pulled out of — remedial mathematics. Although the bright sunlight and biting cold were doing a decent job at waking her up — especially considering just how inappropriately short her uniform still was, as the girl was still waiting to hear back from the faculty for a size swap.
Her xanthic gaze — almost lazily glowing — scanned the crowd. There were a few familiar faces — some of which she was eager to talk to, but she didn’t want to step out of line; figuratively not metaphorically. From what she had witnessed some of the teachers didn’t take kindly to that kind of stuff. The last thing she needed was to get reprimanded on her first week.
Or worse, have to right in an outfit where she can’t kick or punch without busting the sewing.
Eventually, it was her turn to pick out a number. The lumbering, lazy oaf made her draw. She looked it over while her predatorily unkept nails raked over her neck, scratching mindlessly away at an itch.
She hoped the number heralded a good fortune.

GET OUT OF MY FACE
Thank. Fucking. God. As ridiculous as this activity may be, it got her out of Biology. Out of every class that she's required to sit through, Biology HAS to be the worst of the batch. A strict teacher plus lame classmates plus unneeded curriculum equals a complete and utter snooze fest! "Capture the flag?" Juniper's soft voice echoed her teacher's words. That game sounded so familiar, yet foreign at the same time. Has she played it before? Probably not. None of the rules or regulations are coming to mind.
Her hazel eyes eventually found themselves darting from one face to another, judging each and every one of her peers. Since she's going to be stuck with at least half of them, might as well asset them now. There's tree trunk, legally blonde, emo kid number 16, shota, it's hat or nothing, 4 eyes, shota #2, loli, back in black, pierces, and 4 eyes' genderbend. Some caught her eye, others failed to even spark the slightest bit of interest.
"Ah, crap. Forgot to get a slip." Juniper swiftly maneuver through the crowd, barely managing to reach the box. "Aaaand I'll grab this one." [br} [br} esOq0_kN

Capture the Flag? Well she knew how that game worked. Scarlett was sitting on the ground, legs crossed whilst looking over the others with apparent disinterest. Even the teacher only got a glance, whilst the young woman tried to inch a nail between a screw and the embedding segment of her prosthetic leg... screwing it in a little further, she stretched a little, her rather basic clothing doing little to hide the twitching muscle beneath her pale skin as her joints straightened out with a satisfying crunching sound. Finally, Scarlett smiled at Natsume Yuuki broadly, nodding in confirmation. "Sounds like it might be fun!" The tall girl said, before checking 'back' with a few other things.
Reaching behind herself, Scarlett concluded that she had cracked enough jokes to kill a person for the moment, thus she got up on her leg, pulled those darned booty pants up properly and made an apologetic wave at anyone who might have been cracking up behind her over this. No point making this overly formal, she'd done worse and been seen doing worse. Thus she simply yawned, hiding it behind one of her slender hands, before stepping forward. This time she actually bothered to reach back as an improvised cover as she bent over, least people might think she did that stuff on purpose. Well... sometimes maybe, but not right now! Smirking at Yuuki again, she so picked her card, tilted her head and hugged the lil' sheet to her bosom. "I'm not sure 'tis a lucky number... but I'll be sure to bring y'all a bit of luck if I can!" Winking at... pretty much everyone in her immediate line of sight, Scarlett then rested her chin on her card and moved back to her spot, hips swaying happily. The Booty Bird was ready.

| [attr="class","gekka"]Seeing a group forming in the main foyer, the boy was curious to see what was going on there. Heading towards them he stood at the back of the group, tall enough to look over most of the other students.
Capture the Flag? Robin remembered playing that game back in middle school, fun times. If other people were going to play it there'd be no harm in him joining. He took a small look around at all the people around him, it was almost hard to imagine that all of them did something to end up here just like him. It wasn't the time to bring down the mood though, he was going to play this game and he was going to enjoy it.
Walking through the small crowd, the back reached his hand into the hat and took out two pieces that seemed stuck together, sliding one off and keeping on remaining in his hand. Taking a few steps back the boy looked down at his slip to see what number he had gotten.

[attr="class","biggieno"] [attr="class","textieno"] As more and more students came up to get their folded piece of paper, the white haired man's smile grew into a Cheshire like grin. He said nothing as they came up, but every time a young man approached, his grin tightened. His eyes crinkled as he looked them over. He was clearly sizing them up. When Yuko's words reached his ears, his grin faltered for a brief moment. It was his favorite person in the world. Natsume turned to give the older woman a wave with a bright smile. ”Ah! Hello Yuko~!” he hummed happily. As the older woman spoke, Natsume grinned more and more. ”Ah! Of course! We'll adjust the rules to make it more fair and interesting!” His eyes shifted to the students as he gestured for them to finish taking their papers. His eyes landed on Min Xu as she took the paper, his grin never faltering, but his eyes did linger. Did he hear her? ”Alright, now those with even numbers will be with me, and those with odd numbers will be on Yuko's team~!” As he spoke, Natsume reached into his pocket to pull out a bright light pink flag and a white one. He held them out to Yuko. ”Pick one!” He'd take back which one she didnt pick. ”Now, Yuko, tie the bandanna around my head~!” He hummed happily. If she did it, he'd move to begin tying the other around the older woman's head. He'd tie it snugly and securely. ”Now students! You each get to pick between defending your teacher or going after the other teacher to take their flags!” he hummed happily. As he spoke, Natsume began to walk down the courtyard. First, he stopped by Yuko and draw a circle with chalk he took out of his sleeve. It was around ten feet in diameter. Then he continued walking. After he was a good half of a football field away from Yuko, he did another circle and stood in it. ”Us teachers can't leave these circles! Nor can we touch the flags with our hands. Now then! Let's begin!”((Sorry! I kept giving people more and more days to join! Any who, from now on the event will move every 48-72 hours. If you do not post within the time, dont sweat it! ◣◆◢ PE I: 10 PE II: 10 ACAD: 30 HLTH: 10 | With the announcement of how the teams were going to be divided, Marko looked at his slip of paper with '14' on it and walked close to Natsume, holding his slip of paper above his head so anyone could obviously see he was on Team Natsume.
Waiting for the rest of the students to gather up in to the two teams, Marko would pay close attention to every single member on both teams, recognizing all students whom had been in Kessho for a longer time. Two members on his side were old faces, while the other side had four, which could be seen as a sort of advantage, because you couldn't tell from most new students what they were capable of. Of course the fact that Team Natsume had ten members and Team Yuko only eight was an advantage too.
With the involvement of the teachers in the game, it was quite the obvious outcome that they'd be restricted to a certain level, because the gap between most students and teachers was quite big. So it just made perfect sense to basically make them into the flags and force them to stay inside the drawn circle of about three meters. Still, even with a handicap like that, getting the better of one of Kessho's teachers was a feat that required both a lot of things, timing and luck being one of the most important ones.
With the game of Capture the Flag having begun, Marko raised his hand a bit nonchalantly to his team with a smile. "I'll stick to defense," he chirped cheerfully and began to look around himself to look for something to use, spotting good sized pebbles to use as projectiles and picked them up immediately, putting them in his pockets, while keeping one ready on his left hand. "Oh, and two people who you should be careful around; Tyson, the black guy, and Samantha, the blonde chick. Darky's a tricky fellow so watch yourselves and Blondie has outbursts and strength to compliment that," Marko tossed a tip to any teammates that might've still stuck around to listen to him and would've spoken even if no-one was around to listen. Still, if someone were to listen, the young man's habit of knowing people and paying attention to what's going on in the school should've been of use.
Now Marko just had to wait for the action to really start and help defend his flag/teacher, so he walked up next to the drawn circle Natsume was inside and stood in place, keeping a close eye on anything that would be going on in the courtyard.

| Eyes widened as he looked up at the stage, his confidence faltering for a moment as he caught sight of Yuko. SHE was a part of this? Why? But he needed more time to prepare before he could face off against her again. Maybe he would get lucky and not be forced to go up against her just yet. What was his number again?
18
Smile converted into a frown as he took a deep breath, eyes locking on to the chair bound teacher sitting on the stage. There was a pause as the rules were explained, gaze never leaving the target until it was time to begin. At that moment he received a surge of confidence, his cocky grin returning as he made his way over to meet up with his team. This wasn't a curse, it was a blessing! In this situation he would definitely have the advantage. She may have been faster than him in a sprint, but there was no way she could outmaneuver him. His audience was already gathered, both curious onlooking students and the players on both teams serving this purpose. Now was the time to show what he was really made of.
He stripped off his jacket as he approached the grouping of his team near Natsume, tossing it on the ground behind just outside of the playing field. As he looked at the two groups of students he couldn't help like they had an advantage. Some of these guys looked pretty tough, and with his speed there was no way they could lose. It was a shame there were a couple familiar faces on the enemy team, but they would have to understand that this was just a game. A game he intended to win.
"Listen, I can outrun any of those guys. If our attackers can tie up their defenders and I can get a clear shot at Granny? I'll be able to snatch that flag no problem. And as soon as it's in my hand we've already won." The speedy vandal stretched as he spoke, leaning from side to side with an arm reaching over his head. This was his big chance. He wasn't about to let a cramp make him look like an idiot in front of his peers.

After the teams were announced, Tyson moved back toward Yuko, even though he's not defending. There's no way he would defend with an opportunity like this. An opportunity to use violence outside of the arena. Tyson's happy that he's on the uneven team, loving the challenge at hand. He quickly took charge of showing everyone that he's the leader qnd everyone should follow him. The delinquent galloped over towards his other team members as he pretended he was riding on a horse. He's theking of movie references, a perect time to use them. There's many war heroes in movies that inspired Tyson's style, now it's time for him to go all out. Three. Two. One. Action!
"Listen up, men. For years we have been under the king's rule, listening to him as he torture us and strave us to death. They've killed half of our army, there's more of them than there is of us." The delinquent leaned back on his imaginary horse, his only chance to look amazing as the sun's rays glisten off his skin. "They might be stronger, faster, and smarter than us. They might be bigger and badder than us. They might even be cooler than you guys, not me," that motivational speech led to nowhere as he stopped. That's about it, je just wnated to tell everyone that the other team was way better than them, just to lower than confidence. "That's about it."
The game reminded him of the Falcons vs Patriots game back in 2017, two years before he was born. Julio Jones was his idol growing up and Tyson dreamed of carrying a team to victory like him. TJ left him team's area, loosening his tie. Whatever Tyson had planned, it had something to do with tie. He took out the pencil he used in class before he was dragged here as he broke it in half. "That was easy, I already won," he smirked. He had so much confidence in his plan. As he walked even closer he began chipping his fingernails off with his teeth, something he hasn't done in a while. Tyson remebered back then when he used to use a chip his nails off and it would get stuck into his eyes, maybe that might come in handy. TJ managed to chip all of the fingernails off of his right hand with his tie in his left hand, he's ready to box a fool. Tyson stopped, making sure he's not too close to his enemies. There's no way he could take the flag from where he's standing at, sooner or later he's going have to advance into enemy's territory.

OOC: Defending Yuko, I guess! @tag
His team featured an enormous idiot who pranced around like a fairy. Olle wasn't sure what the deal was with that, though he guessed it might be possible the fellow was African and this was a war dance. A very... lame looking war dance, not at all like what he'd have expected one to look. It was probably not one, and the truth was probably that this guy was very, very weird. But this was a reform academy. Not a... gathering of quirks, was it? The other team didn't look like they had a lot of weird people. Maybe that was going to change, though. Maybe they just wanted to appear normal. Maybe, like always, he had the completely wrong idea about people. He was definitely right about Fairy, though. Went on with some spiel about kings and armies. Olle knew he was considered a weirdo by his classmates (or rather, his past classmates), but this took the proverbial cake, ran with it, hid it in a science centre and then lied about it. Olle wandered over to their assigned teacher, hovering around the circle. He didn't really feel like putting a whole lot of effort into this. Not as if his participation would really... change anything about the outcome, anyway.

Flipping out the lights, trying to survive this endless fight @none, in case you don't know what fun snaps are. their linked. there was no way he was going near grandma, other faster and stronger students would be tasked with that job. Oliver didn’t bother saying a word as he placed himself near the white haired man, as he thought quickly of a way to assist without having to get involved with other students physically.
"I'll defend Mr. Natsume" Oliver informed, granted he didn’t really think anybody was paying attention to him. That was fine, he really wanted to be left unnoticed as he could be more useful unnoticed. Taking out a few fun snaps to hold in his hand, just in case he had to send a distraction or draw attention to other students.

Had that bastard purposely rigged her pick? She glared furiously at the 12 in her hand. She clenched the slip, wondering what she might do with it. After a moment of though, she ripped it two. With one half in both hands, she clenched her fists tightly. She glanced around, searching for a convenient trashcan in the vicinity. No such luck. Min sighed irritably and jammed the two ripped pieces in the pockets of her jacket. 'There seriously isn't any trashcan nearby. What's with that?' she wondered. Another sigh escaped. She yawned quietly to herself. Why oh why did she stay up so late last night? And more importantly, why didn't anyone inform her of today's event? Then perhaps she would not be a zombie.
She folded her arms, staying quiet. If she finished the game putting the least effort she could, she'd be delighted. Min's weariness prevented her from desiring perfection and utmost participance in herself.

Keith ended up on the team of the older teacher, alongside Tyson, the child (ugh...) and... well, a lot of students that Keith had been vaguely aware of but otherwise didn't know terribly well. Tyson was already trying to take the lead (no surprises there), but most of his words seemed to fall on deaf ears (also no surprises there), with the few who had been listening ahead of time mostly seeming to tune him out. Well, someone had to rope all of these students together... The problem, Keith surmised, would be that no one amongst the chosen student body would actively choose to listen to one-another. But...
"Uh, come to think of it, isn't Miss... Uh, Romanov, I think it was? Isn't she some kind of really good planner? Maybe we should let her give the orders?"
It was a feeble attempt to get some semblance of order; one young man had already begun gravitating that way (out of his own free will, Keith assumed), which left the others. Who... likely wouldn't listen.
God help this team.

After hearing how people would be divided into teams, he looked down at his slip to see that his number was uneven. Knowing this, he made his way towards group of students that formed Yuko's team. While it may appear that he wasn't paying much attention, he was actually trying to gather his thoughts.
The idea of teachers being apart of this activity made him uneasy, but found the fact of how limited they are pretty odd. If they can't leave the circle or touch the flag then what's the point of being apart of the activity? Are they meant to act as the student's final challenge to get to the flag? It seems like that made the most sense, but he could be wrong.
His own team was filled with people that he didn't known previous to this game. This the idea of team work harder to him. Case in point when a fellow student of his spoke up amongst them. "The heck is he talking about?" Rakutsu asked a lot confused with how Tyson addressed the team. "Was that suppost to be motivational? I seriously can't tell if that's the case or not." He asked aloud once more, but wasn't expecting much of a answer. If his teammates were anything like Tyson then this game was over from the start. How can anyone work together if they are all trying to show off.
"Seems like the best course of action." Rakutsu said towards Keith as he started making his way towards the circle in order to defend the team's flag as he couldn't think of anything else he could do for the team.
